Edition of 200.
In 2000, The Cowan Pottery Associates commissioned a miniature pottery
replica of the Cowan Aztec Man. The copper/rust glazed piece
is 6.5'' high by 4'' wide and has an incised copyrighted signature on the
back: CPMA 2000 COWAN. A single
piece makes a fine display or a pair can serve as small bookends.

4. Viktor
Schreckengost AND 20TH - CENTURY
DESIGN This book, was
produced in conjunction with The Cleveland Museum of Art's retrospective
exhibition of the life and work of Viktor Schreckengost. This 174 page 8.5'' by 11'' glossy
stock book, authored by Henry Adams, makes a fine coffee table piece with over 200 photos
including 30 photos of pottery made while Viktor worked at the Cowan Pottery
Studio during 1930-31.

Miniature replica of the Cowan Pottery Jazz Bowl designed by Viktor

Collection Auction On November 20, 1999, the auction of the Gladys
& William Sheard Cowan Pottery Collection, was sponsored by the
Cowan Pottery Associates. This 20 page glossy stock brochure details
the particulars of a vast array of high quality Cowan pieces in the 262
lot auction. Over 150 pieces are pictured in color or black &
white in this 8.5'' by 11'' piece. Also included is a "Price

original hard bound reference book on the subject was authored by Tim and Jamie
Saloff and published by Collector's Books in 1994. Unfortunately,
this 172 page, 328 photo book is no longer in print. If you
are interested, we suggest you search on e-Bay, since they do come up quite
often.
